When Le'Keia Johnson received her child's Down syndrome diagnosis, she was handed a folder of pamphlets and sent home with more questions than answers. She sat across the table at IEP meetings feeling unheard, uncertain, and unsure of where to turn. She searched for someone who could translate the jargon, challenge the assumptions, and remind her that her child's future was still full of limitless possibility. She couldn't find that person — so she became her.
Today, Le'Keia brings together years of personal lived experience, deep knowledge of disability rights and education law, and an unwavering commitment to family advocacy. She founded Le'Keia's Consulting to be the resource she once desperately needed — a knowledgeable, compassionate guide who speaks both the language of systems and the language of love.
Based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Le'Keia serves families across the state and beyond, offering practical consulting rooted in real-world experience.

She founded Le'Keia's Consulting to be the guide she once desperately needed — one who speaks both the language of systems and the language of love.
